set_field_face_data_base Subroutine

public subroutine set_field_face_data_base(self, f, data_start, data_end, face)

Write host 2D planes into the face planes of a DIR_X field and touch nothing else. For Y_FACE the planes are (nx, nz) and are written to y = 1 (data_start) and y = ny (data_end). For X_FACE the planes are (ny, nz) and are written to x = 1 (data_start) and x = nx (data_end). data_end is optional, when absent only the start face is written.
